Challenge Accepted

My friend Ky recently gave me a new cook book for my collection. I mentioned before that I have a cook book problem. I love buying cook books but I don’t always use them.

In an earlier post I talked about how before buying a new cook book I made a deal with myself. I could buy the book but I had to make more than one recipe from it. It became kind of a challenge. I challenged myself to make as many recipes as I could from the book and ended up making more than thirty-five different recipes.

I would like to do that again with this cook book. Not only as a challenge for myself but also as a thank you to Ky for giving me this book. She’s a great friend and I know she’ll appreciate all the effort I’m going to put into this.

She lives in Portland so she won’t be able to try the food but I’m sure she’ll love the pics. This cook book is a little different from the last book I used for my previous challenge. There are fewer recipes and they don’t have a unified theme but that won’t stop me. I’ll start with three recipes and go from there.

I’ve already made the ultimate cheesy garlic bread which was amazing. I could have eaten the garlic butter cheese by itself!
